Machine Embroidery Needles
Machine embroidery needles are specially made for machine embroidery.
The larger eye allows for the embroidery thread and the sharp point gets the thread through without breakage. If you do experience thread breakage, consider using a bigger needle. The 11/75 is good for most embroidery jobs. Use the 14/90 for more dense designs or those on heavier fabrics. Many people like the 14/90 for sweatshirts.
Available in 11/75 or 14/90.

Jeans Needles (Denim)
Jeans needles, also known as Denim needles, are great for sewing jean/denim material. They work well on heavier fabrics and the much larger eye allows for the heavier thread used in sewing jeans. Also good for heavy duty sewing (many layers, trim sewing, etc).
